Private tutoring for grades 3-6 (5 years) I taught for 16 years and had children of all levels and abilities. My greatest strengths are language arts and history. I strongly believe that each child is capable of doing well and want to tutor to help provide the tools and skills needed to be successful. I am very patient and am perceptive of strengths and weaknesses in a child. I also know a variety of ways to teach children according to their learning abilities. I have many interests and hobbies. I love to read, write and bake! I also love animals and have a dog named Scraps. He is a rescue and has really enhanced our lives. Finally, I love the outdoors. My husband and I enjoy hiking, canoeing, going to the beach and snowboarding.
